The sod arrived early – about 6:45 AM. We got to work about 7:15 and were finished by about 12:30. We had one area left to till that morning also, the reason that it took longer than what I expected.
We watered the sod as we laid it. Then when we were all done we watered over it again. We also walked on it to press it firmly into the dirt since we were not rolling it. We water it every morning and night.
It is supposed to rain today and somewhat throughout the week, so that will tell us if we need to water it at night. We have been getting rain pretty steadily and that has really helped out.
