All of our Bermuda varieties are hybrids. This means that the plant comes from two other parent plants and the seedhead put off by these plants are sterile. Bermudagrasses are warm season perennials that creep by strong rhizomes and stolons, or more commonly known as runners. Tifway 419 is the standard Bermuda and is great for sunny areas. TifSport is very traffic tolerant and also needs full sun. Patriot is very cold and traffic tolerant, and requires full sun. New TifGrand Bermuda is much like Tifway 419 and is good for sun and shade.
